In Nepal, According to NDHS 2022, 23% women of age 15-49 have experienced physical violence and 8% have experienced sexual violence. Physical Violence in most of the cases are Domestic Violence caused by husband to wife. Major reasons for these types of violence are Gender inequality, financial dependency to men, Patriarchal society. Alcohol and drug consumption and lack of education to female are root causes for this type of Violence. These type of Violence not only causes the physical injuries but also causes the big impact on mind. The person who are violated feels low confident and are scared to come Infront of other people. The violence not only affects the person alone but also his/her Children and other relatives and leads to disturbances in relationship. To stop these kinds of violence, everyone should have to be aware about the causes, then only they can think of it's prevention. I think, Providing good education to Child and raising in good environment can teach the male, how to respect others and when the girls are also educated, they can be self dependent and protect themselves from domestic violence. To stop this violence, we should support the organisation working on this and raise awareness about its impact and the ways to stop this among people in communities.
